I paid and opting to click & collect as the shop advertised as local to me. I received the collect-code from eBay and asked seller collection detail/address via eBay, but no respond.
Understand seller maybe busy or away, but how long reasonably should I wait? (2 days, or a week?) eBay's seem to protect delivery purchase, not click and collect, and I don't want ended up with eBay stating "your claim time expire, too bad".

·1 year agoeBay use the term Click & Collect in a different way than the widely accepted definition understood by retailers and buyers Australia-wide. I do understand the confusion.

·1 year agoThe seller is quite within their rights to ignore a message from anyone asking for their address. Heck, I'd have done likewise. To be honest, they probably think you're trying to rip them off.
You stated that you selected click and collect, and the seller has obviously shipped the item as per your chosen shipping method. The onus is now on you to collect the item from the location you nominated.
If you fail to collect the item within the allowable timeframe, the eBay money back guarantee will be voided. The item will be returned to the sender, and you will not be eligible for a refund.
Instead of wasting time trying to needlessly contact the seller, you should be picking up your item before it's too late.

·1 year agoYou are talking about two entirely different things, click and collect is not the same as picking up from an individual seller

·1 year agoYou would have been required at checkout, to specify a collection point, with your choice of parcelpoint, hubbed or retailer in store locations. As you have received the code from ebay, your item should now be at the collection location you specified.
Here's how it works:

OP1 year agoThank you for the prompt response, 30 days is a relieve.
I opted to pickup, not ship/delivery (didn't know click-collect and pickup are two different topic).
Thank you all for the feedback.

So just to confirm, you chose local pick up, received the QR code and the seller hasn't responded to your request for their address ?
Is this correct ?
What is the item number ?
