It is the same for me, springy, but according to padi eBay might "enhance our experience" soon. 😞
After reading another thread where someone said they had to verify themselves all the time, and reading a comment by the Countess who has been experiencing the same (I first thought the OP might be using a proxy or an incognito window), I am even afraid of logging out for fear of having to verify myself all the time if I do and then try to log in again.
If you use a desktop browser with an ad blocker, try using the element hiding tool of your ad blocker to block the sponsored display that appears on your Watch List page. Most ad blockers have a point and click interface of some kind to allow a user to specify a page element, and the ad blocker then creates a rule to block that element.
If you use Ad Block or Ad Block Plus, try adding this rule which seems to work for me to your custom filters:

·3 years agoI have the advertising, but it shows at the end of my watched list, not in the middle of it.
The ads are at the bottom of the items, but just above the page click arrow.
I find it doesn't get in my way there, but if I ever found it inserted between my saved items, it would be a turn off.
At the moment, the ads for 'similar sponsored items' are busy showing me lego sets, but that ship has sailed.

Ebay changes are not exactly positively exciting.

·3 years agoI also “blank” out such things if Adblock doesn’t whoosh them away.

·3 years agoI only have that at the end of the page (and I do have more than one page).

·3 years agoIt only appeared on my watchlist in the last week or so Papermoon - perhaps eBay hasn't got around to "enhancing your eBay experience" yet. 🤣

·3 years agoI checked our watch list, and noticed that the sponsored listings were between the current and ended items.
They've been there for a while, but I generally just blank them out.
I do use an ad blocker, but haven't looked at the settings as my son (who works in IT) originally set it up for us.

·3 years agoI use AdBlock Plus, haven't done anything and don't see any ads in my watch list.

·3 years agoI see what you mean. I thought the OP meant "between items".
