Ebay asking for proof of shipment, not sure why to provide.
I received a defective item and started a return. I sent the item back and was given a refund. This morning Ebay have messaged me and they are asking for proof of delivery to the seller. I already provided the tracking information which shows the item delivered back to the seller. I have no idea what the documents are that they are asking for?

·1 year agoI don't know either but maybe re submit the tracking details and also track it yourself and take a screenshot of the result that shows it delivered and send that too.
You can't do much more. At least you have your refund.

OP1 year agoThanks for the replies. So I emailed Ebay asking what it is they would like me to provide. They then responded saying don't worry, you don't need to do anything, just ignore what the previous representative told you. So I guess it's all good now.

·1 year agoNo idea why, if you have allready received a refund, maybe the seller has appealed. Was the return label with tracking provided by the seller/ebay or did you purchase an alternative label.
