eBay Commerce is a SCAM company and eBay Australia know it. Thought I purchased from eBay.
Summary: The discussion thread revolves around accusations against eBay Commerce and eBay Australia, where michael.harley claimed that the company is a scam, and they were misled into believing they purchased directly from eBay. There's a chain of responses from various participants such as twyngwyn, domino-710, and peacockdg, though the content of these responses is unspecified. No concrete incidents or specific experiences are described, as the posts lack substantive content that clarifies or expands upon the initial accusation.
I purchased an item on eBay.com Australia or so I thought as that was the address in the address bar! Never heard of eBay Commerse Inc. Turns out I received NO conformation of sale from either the seller ,eBay Commerse or even PayPal which was strange. I always get a receipt from PayPal within minutes of purchase. Logged into PayPal account and BINGO there it is receipt of purchase. No seller details but seller listed has eBay.Commerse Inc now have put it in the hands of PayPal. Tried ringing eBay.Commerse and gave them the order number which is on the PayPal receipt! they didn't recognise the number.

·8 months agoI also got scammed by this mob. I bought 6 Oxy shells to clean fish tank water at the e-bay price of $59.94, however when I paid for these oxy shells using Pay Pal I thought I was safe. I was wrong. When the bill hit my in-box the price had jumped to $89.34, issued by eBay Commerce Aust. without advising of the price jump. I thought i was safe using e-bay & Pay Pal. Guess I was wrong. DRG

·8 months agoeBay Commerce is eBay.
They take the money you pay, take their fees out and disburse the rest to the seller.
If you paid an extra $30, then you didn't read the listing properly, you chose options on top of the base price, or you purchased from overseas.
What you definitely didn't do was check the ACTUAL price you were being charged before committing to the purchase.

Presuming it's the seller who last left you feedback....there are no recent revisions to the listing
Did you buy all 6 together ?
6 X $9.99 = $59.94 with free postage or a $7.95 charge for postage with tracking
Go to your Purchase History and have a look at the order details.

Spelt like that, no it's not.
Go to your purchase history page and as you haven't bought anything for a while, make sure the drop down box option: See Orders is set to the correct timespan.
Or did you purchase as a guest ?

·1 year agoNo such thing as eBay Commerse
If that is what it said in the address bar, obviously it is a scam
Nothing other members can do if you visited a scam site
Other than strongly suggest you notify the bank linked to your PayPal account
How exactly does the REAL ebay know you used a scam site?
And you also rang a scam site?
Unless you wrote Commerse numerous times but you mean commerce
Which is eBay, given the buyer 'pays' eBay and eBay pays the seller
Did you buy on the account you are using now, or did you buy as a guest?
How do you mean you have 'put it in the hands of PayPal'

·1 year agoYou purchased.
All purchased items will come as eBay Commerce in PP.
It's managed payments by eBay.
You should have confirmation in ' my purchases ' .

·1 year agoWas it eBay.com.au?
Commerce is spelled with a ‘c’ not an ‘s’…
How much was the item?
