I have been a Ebay Plus member for years and haven't been receiving any monthly vouchers for quite some time. I recently received a $5 voucher with a minimum spend of $25. I have used many of these over the years. I have got to say paying for a membership that has no value is pointless, I will be permanently cancelling mine!

·3 months agoEbay Plus is invaluable for me and ends up costing me nothing as I get $5 voucher each month and use it on purchases not to mention the free express that I save on (when that service is needed).
Maybe you misread. Mine says "Eligible eBay Plus members get $5.00 off* your purchase of AU $50.00 or more"

OP3 months agoThe email stated $25 minimum spend, the T&C's stated $25 minimum spend. I also had not been receiving the membership offers until my membership was due for renewal.

So far this year I've literally saved hundreds of dollars through eBay Plus benefits. Whether it be through free express delivery or discount vouchers, the value is certainly there.
Different vouchers have different eligibility criteria which can be found in the T&C. Different minimum spends also apply in different categories.
Based on what you've posted here, it looks as though you're trying to purchase from a category which has a $50 minimum spend. Check the T&C for clarification.

·3 months ago$25 minimum spend*.... is not the same as $25 minimum spend. Your personal (mis)interpretation of the voucher conditions seems to be the entire issue here.
Again, the category you were trying to purchase from quite obviously had a $50 minimum spend. You openly state as much yourself (as shown in your screenshot).
The solution is to check which categories are eligible for the $25 minimum spend, and purchase from one of those categories.
Otherwise, just spend the required $50 or more from the particular category where you are wanting to use your voucher - problem solved.

OP3 months agoThe problem is that when you try to use the voucher, the minimum spend changes to $50. So if the perks of having the paid membership are withdrawn or not given, people cancel their memberships. This is most likely causing lower sales for sellers. I assume there are others having this issue.
