Fake gold and fake stones!

Purchased a ring, after asking if genuine, told yes genuine solid 10ct gold, genuine aquamarine and genuine diamonds, to turn out all fake! The ring was to be yellow gold band, white gold setting, came all yellow, size was to be 7.5 (made big deal about doing half sizes) came in size 7 too small. I lodged complaint for return, seller said to send item back at my expense they would reimburse postage if I sent my bank or Paypal details as could not raise a postage label for my country? I no longer have their trust, but also Ebay has system for sellers to buy postage labels! Ring looks cheap and nasty, it is cheap and nasty with a fake valuation card. So I ask after advising Ebay of all of this why do they allow these crooks to fraud people and continue trading!?

·2 months agoOpen return request for item not as described. If seller doesn’t resolve the issue within 4 days of opening the request/complaint, the option to escalate / ask eBay to step in will appear. Click onto it. You should be fully refunded.
The seller will have no say in it if they can’t provide a label or organise AT THEIR COST for the ring to be returned.
In future, don’t buy from bad sellers. Check feedback comments, research seller to see if they have a legitimate background as jewellers, and don’t expect genuine gold and gemstones at ridiculously low prices. Look at the price of gold; look at the price of diamonds, etc. It’s a myth, a fable, a scammer’s glittering lure that you can pick up genuine fine jewellery at the price of an unconsidered trifle - and I don’t mean the wobbly sort.

The seller is registered in India and has terrible feedback
I ask why support such a dodgy seller and expect anything other than a dodgy seller?
Buyers have the choice to refuse to give such scammers their business
All the negs speak for themselves
Just because eBay allow these scammers to list does not force the buyer to support the scammers
Have you notified the business in Scotland this seller is using their photos to sell fakes?
Did you provide proof to eBay you were sent fakes from stolen photos?
The seller is registered in India and cannot send a postage label
You say you lodged a complaint, but did you in fact open an item not as described dispute?
