·1 year agoIt is sounding as if you've lost your money on this one.
If the seller isn't replying to you at all, then it isn't sounding hopeful that you bought from an authorised Australian seller.
It is also unlikely that your item arrived less than 30 days ago if you are mentioning warranty. Plus a seller would probably reply in the 30 day time frame, if only to fob you off, string you along till your chance to make a claim expired.
What it amounts to is this: If your item arrived over 30 days ago, you are out of time to make an ebay claim.
Ebay will cover you if a purchase goes wrong. If something does not arrive or is faulty on arrival. And you claim within 30 days.
But it does not get involved in warranty issues.
You can contact ebay if you like-go to the help pages and follow the prompts- but you are unlikely to get ebay to step in with a warranty issue for an item purchased some time ago.
The same with paypal & paypal will not cover you simply because an item is not the quality you expected.
That's a completely different issue to being faulty.
Padi is right-on ebay where a warranty is mentioned, it is usually just words on a screen, worthless.
You're not the only person to be caught out.
If ever you are after something where a warranty matters, especially expensive items, go to a real store or else only buy from an authorised seller here in Australia.

·1 year agoWarranties for on-line goods are meaningless UNLESS the seller is registered in Australia and is an authorised seller/reseller of the product.
What is the item number ?
