feedback
I am so sick and tired of constantly being told to supply feedback for items well before they have arrived.
I ALWAYS leave feedback for items within 24 hours of delivery.

It is 100% an eBay thing, which you've been around (on eBay) long enough to know
I ignore them like I do any spam

They are annoying but I just ignore them as a buyer ....and sellers hope that inexperienced buyers won't think they come from a seller who's asking for feedback

As do most. I would be lucky to get feedback for 20% of sales. It's not the internet thing these days.

·1 year agoAs the OP said, much of the time the annoying feedback reminders from eBay are sent before the item's even been received .

I HATE eBay automated feedback in Australia for sellers with under 10 feedback as I've seen it given to scammers, dropshippers (from AliExpress) and sellers of counterfeit items.
A buyer can override automated feedback with their own feedback but does anyone know what shows on the Purchase History / Feedback page to indicate this ?
I wonder if we'll get this here for ALL sellers:
Starting at the end of April, UK sellers will automatically receive positive feedback for orders that use a tracked service, arrive on time, and have no buyer issues.
Automated positive feedback will be added to your feedback profile 7 days after tracking confirms successful delivery, provided the following criteria are met:
This feedback will remain unless the buyer reports a negative experience, such as opening a return request, reporting non-receipt, or cancelling the order. Any positive or negative feedback subsequently left by the buyer will replace the automated positive feedback.
