Hi,
payment for two items deducted from my bank account with no record on Ebay. No confirmation emails. Purchases at end of last week. Not sure of Sellers ID as was expecting emails and records. Order numbers appear to be on my bank record but can't contact Ebay via msg or email. Help please.

Posting here is not contacting eBay
It is no use 'sending' (not sure what you mean by that) eBay your new debit card, you need to go into your account and actually change it there

·1 year agoYou purchased at the end of last week…?
But you’ve not received emails or messages about the purchase?
Then I suspect you’ve logged in via social media rather than username and password. See this page – https://www.ebay.com.au/help/account/signing-account/signing-account?id=4189 – for the various ways of signing in. If you signed in via Facebook, the emails would have gone to the email associated with your Facebook account, for example.
I understand that you can link your existing eBay account to your social media account - but I’ll admit it’s not entirely clear whether you can do this post-creating an account with Facebook. eBay’s Help page on this states:
❝Linking your eBay account to your Facebook, Google or Apple account
If you already have an eBay account, you can link it to your social accounts:

On principle, I don’t want any other account information - social media or otherwise, including other email addresses that I have - to be given to eBay (ditto for other sites). The more information one gives, the more likely that a frighteningly informative profile will be built up through data scraping, and that makes one more vulnerable to identify theft, scams, spam and other misuse of private data.
So… think carefully before you link accounts if you have inadvertently created one through a different way of logging in. If you can identify the order within another account, you don’t need necessarily to link your accounts.
Consider also whether you made the order with a guest account.

·1 year agoIF you have unauthorised charges on your bank account, you have to contact your bank so they can investigate
Other members cannot do anything
Otherwise, you must know who you have purchased from
Did you buy as a guest or on a different account?
You can contact eBay via eBay Help, but no point if you do not know what you purchased
You have several feedback for purchases you have made in the past month, are you certain it is none of those?
Do you allow others on your computer/device who may have bought things on your account?
