how to report suspected fraud
I've bought an item two days ago and paid for it collect from their address. I've heard nothing from the vendor. They have only two items sold before with no feedback. I suspect a fraudulent seller. How do I report my suspicion to ebay?

·3 years agoSend them a polite message saying you would like to arrange pick and could they please send address and some info on conveniet times.
If they are obviously inexperienced then it's a bit unfair of you to immediately assume fraud!!

·3 years agoIf you are going to accuse the seller of fraud based on them only having sold two items and no feedback, why buy from them in the first place?
Have you sent them a message and given them time to respond?
Have you explained to them about Managed Payments, and that they can't wait until the funds have cleared before you can collect them item?
Have you explained to the about the QR code to prove you have collected the item?
Have you thought that being an inexperienced seller, they might not know these things, and rather than immediately accuse them of 'suspected fraud' you could help them?
