Hardly likely to be a genuine warranty, have you looked online for a manual.  youtube is a good place to look for assistance videos for  assembly, operation and  maintenance.

Even without you giving us the item number as requested, I'm willing to bet you bought it from a Chinese seller.

As such, there will be no applicable warranty, and the bike is very unlikely to conform to Australian Standards.

There have been many instances where those bikes have caught fire while charging, and caused significant damage to the buyers home. Be aware also that your insurance policy will not cover damage caused by items that do not conform to Australian Standards.

    Hello Sigs-20,

That would have been delivered by courier, dis-assembled, in a large cardboard box. (I'm assuming you didn't pick it up and the box was too large for Australia Post).  Now you have a bike in bits with no instructions on how to put it together?

If you still have the bike you might like to ask a friend who knows their way around an e-bike to help with the assembly.

    Tom

The most important thing you can do right now is check exactly when it arrived as you have 30 days in which to open an ebay claim for an item that is not as described in the ad. Only 30 days.

If you are within that time range, go and open a case now. An official ebay claim.

It may ask you to contact the seller first. Don't bother, it is not compulsory to do that and a bad seller will try to fob you off anyway and delay you past the 30 day window.

Open a claim and monitor it and make sure you follow through to claim your refund, which you should get in full. Seller is responsible for paying return postage so make sure you get a postage label before you post back.

Keep your claim very clear and simple as in-bike I received does not match photo/description in the ad & is missing the manual. (as long as the ad even said it would have a manual.)

Most warranties on ebay are useless, just words on a screen. Ebay isn't a good place to buy some items unless you really know what you are doing and you're buying from an authorised seller.

You have not bought anything from other members here

    eBay do not sell anything

There is no warranty on anything unless it is sold by an authorised seller/re-seller of the product/brand

Not matter what the seller said in the ad

If it is not what you ordered, open and follow through with an item not as described dipsute

And most important of all, do not buy a highly dangerous item to start with off a random seller on eBay

And even more especially if it was from a dodgy seller

    What is the item number?

Putting yourself and everyone else around you at risk

Especially if you are unaware of the most basics of eBay
