·9 months agoYou need to open an item not as described dispute
No need to go around in circles, contact eBay or anyone or ask other members to read your messages
And no need to mess around with unhelpful sellers
You can also avoid many issues by not buying from dodgy sellers (ie check feedback before you buy)

·9 months agoThere's no need to talk to anyone, just use eBay's Money Back Guarantee.

·8 months agoYou open the dispute within the time limit and you follow through with it within the time limit
It will only be dragged out if you as a buyer allow it to be
Six months is far too long, the MBG is good for 30 days past the latest estimated delivery date
You have been given straight answers here
eBay will not cover you past the 30 day time limit
Not poor at all
Fully protects the buyer *if* the buyer uses it

·8 months agoNo, it's not a poor guarantee at all... it's actually an extremely good protection for buyers.
Consider this... it was you who deliberately dragged out the process and voided the MBG.
You, and only you, are in control of the choices you make. Choosing to do your own thing by not following correct procedure does NOT equate to a poor guarantee - but rather, it equates to a poor personal choice.
No amount of blame shifting will change that fact.
