I have had 2 sellers refuse to send to my address

2 separate sellers with the same item, which was 8 boxes of tissues, have said after purchase, that their couriers don't deliver to my address? I had 2 other items I bought off eBay delivered yesterday? A box of paper cups and a gas lift for my office chair. Why is this happening?

what is the delivery address town?

I am not asking for personal information, I am not asking for the address, I am not asking for anything that will identify you ... just the town.

Here, I'll show you how confident I am that providing the town name is not intrusive upon your privacy by telling you mine ... I live in Mildura in north-west Victoria. I have a PO Box and there is no delivery of mail to my street address. Couriers regularly deliver to my home address.

None of the information I have provided would let you find me.

A town called Cowra NSW, the address is for the main street of the town, not a PO box, there are deliveries here weekly from a number of suppliers, every one else I have spoken to in this area has never had a delivery denied. I just wanted to know why they would refuse to deliver here when we've never had an issue before?

cooff-29 , These ( plenty of them shonky) sellers selling 8 boxes of tissues all seem to listing with very similar photos and decriptions ! Somewhere in most of their feedback mentions that "Seller won't post to my address". I see that you've revised your feedback but unless I'm missing something, there's no mention of a courier in the item you bought, just standard parcel delivery

I think it has nothing to do with couriers as Cowra is not that small.

I think sellers are just screwing with you.

Time to look for other sellers.

And another thing cooff-29, with this "so called " new seller, you'll see yet another neutral feedback for sending from Amazon, just like the sellers I mentioned in my longer, earlier post. The IDs are mostly all linked and just start up new selling IDs to offset their awful, higher feedback IDs

If I'm looking at the right sellers, I think the selling IDs may be linked.

Between them, they both have AWFUL feedback for:

1) Items received directly from from Amazon, Kmart, Catch

2) They won't post to xxxxx

3) Constantly cancelling orders

Hopefully you have refunds from both sellers, so please check feedback before further purchases

The seller the OP left the neg for only had the one neg from the OP. That was before they made their feedback private. But totally agree not checking who you are buying from before you buy will be the cause of many issues

I didn't see who the OP left negative feedback, so I must have the wrong seller/s. I looked at all the completed listings for 8 boxes of tissues and amongst all the rubbish feedback , there seemed to be a bit of a trend of "won't deliver to my address"

Presumably you live in the bush, which a lot of couriers don't service, or you would go down the shops to buy your tissues.

Surely, unless your live in a one pub town, you have some sort of supermarket?

you have asked questions like “why won’t couriers deliver?” and “why is this happening?” in several replies to answers given.

You confirmed its not a PO Box issue.

You need to tell us which town you were denied delivery to. Not the address, just the town.

Without this, we might as well use a magic 8-ball to give you a reason.

are you using a PO Box?

If the courier the sellers use can not deliver to your address then you need to start asking sellers about delivery issues before buying.

This would mean asking any seller that has courier as delivery method.

Are you living in an isolated area/town? Are there any issues that would prevent courier delivery?

Hopefully there is an easy fix for this.

Hi, not a PO box, a physical address in the main street of my town, I've never had an issue getting deliveries before? That's why I'm baffled as to why there is a problem now?

Don't buy from sellers who use a courier/s who cannot deliver to you

Simple

Nice you have left neg feedback for something out of the seller's control though

Why are you being so nasty? I'm asking a genuine question. I am within my rights to leave negative feedback if I have a negative experience. I checked her details and it says nothing about not delivering to my town so that's on her

You are also within your rights to contact the seller via message & give the seller the opportunity to clarify the issue. However you decided to pull the feedback trigger. I normally don't say this as I no longer sell & am a Buyer only... I would block you in a heartbeat!

Nobody here has been nasty. it is a factual reply .

You said you were told the courier could not deliver to you

You then asked other members why is this happening

The seller is not the courier, not on her at all if the courier being used can't or won't deliver to your address .

You are the only person to have left a neg. If it were a 'seller issue' others would have done the same

Probably because the sellers said "their couriers don't deliver" to your address.

You could if you so wish ask the sellers for further clarification.

I have been in contact with the seller, she has refused to send an item I have paid for, cancelled the sale, my question is why can't she send it another way, and why are couriers refusing to send items?
