Was the message really from eBay ?
What is the item number relevant to the message ?
One of the (Chinese) sellers in your recent feedback is no longer registered.
If you don't receive your item from that seller, you have 30 days from the last estimated delivcery date to file an ' item not received' claim through eBay's Money Back Guarantee

eBay would have gone off tracking that showed attempted as being delivered to the address you provided
Since eBay do not deliver themselves, they would have no idea if you were home or not, or why the company said you weren't when you were
