    I want to buy a book from America that will be around $60 AUD but I'm worried about the taxes/duties
                     

    I'm from Australia and I want to buy a book from America that costs around $60 AUD. I've never brought something from overseas and I'm worried about the taxes, fees and duties that will apply once it reaches Australia. Will it be expensive? Does anyone have any advice please?

    you would pay GST on the order when paying.

     

    If the seller uses GSP you will pay fees to Pitney Bowes, but they would show on the listing whether it is auction or Buy-Now.
