I'm not happy with the quantity of my purchase of E scooter I'm requesting a refund for it
I'm making a claim to have my E scooter refunded as my son was riding it and the handle bar fell off he hit the gutter and landed on his shoulder breaking his collar bone in two places and also broke his wrist .
Im devastated that this has happened the quality of this is terrible and not safe at all he could have been killed .
I just want my money back and I will return the item for inspection.
Thanks .

Also note that although the seller is registered in China, all of the seller's items are advertised as located in NSW re. the eBay announcement link

·1 year agoHi there, what is the item number and did the item require buyer assembly.
Did you buy the scooter from China, if so you may be deemed the lmporter and therefore responsible for ensuring the item meets Australian standards.
What is the motor wattage, and how fast does it go, this will determin if the scooter can be legally used on any Australian public roads etc, or if it is restricted to private property.
Lucky your son only has a broken collarbone, many have not been so lucky, and Australian states are looking to place further restrictions on there use. For my money, get them of public streets etc all together.

It is a huge risk to buy an e scooter of some random on eBay, as you have discovered
There are many many many warnings here on the member to member forum about this
Something you will need to take up with the seller
No doubt this was from the seller registered in China, who has horrid feedback?
Honestly, I cannot image what posses anyone to buy an e-scooter off a dodgy seller, especially one in China
Such a choice is never ever going to end well
You are right, it is not safe, and all the warnings were there
Posting on the member forum is not making a claim
You really need to read the buying basics, care about who you are buying from and not make choices that are highly likely to result in serious injury, death, or damage destroying your property or someone around you (none of which would be covered by insurance)
Just don't
