My item sent to wrong person
The seller addressed her parcel to me correctly but DHL sent it to someone else. Instead, I received a Knitted beanie meant for someone else. I returned it to the sender but my original purchase has never turned up. I got refunded by Ebay twice. Their stupid system is not working. I have just bought a very expensive book from another American seller, and if that goes missing, I will get on to social media and blast Ebay.

OP1 year agoYes I have told ebay I was refunded twice but had no response. How the hell do I contact DHL. There are no addresses anywhere to do that. And what will they do? My original purchase is long gone. An item that is rarely found intact due to its age.

Don't even bother contacting DHL. Your purchase is long gone anyway, you've nothing to gain and the case has already been closed.
Keep the double refund.
It's annoying but sometimes things do go wrong. I'd say it is unlikely the exact same thing will happen again. But it does mean you'll just have to keep looking for another copy of the book & yes, you may not find one.
