Non receipt of purchased item
Received email advising that my item had been delivered 2/05/25. Still not received. Contacted courier service. They advised that tracking number was for Victoria, not Queensland.

·1 year agoI'd do as etb advised and contact the seller as it does sound like a mix up with tracking number supplied.
Is you item actually overdue for delivery though?
However, if you get no joy, save your reply from the courier, if it is in writing.
Should your item still remain undelivered once the estimated delivery dates have passed, then you could open a claim in ebay for item not received, but you would need to supply the information that the tracking number supplied did not match the state you live in.
Otherwise the seller could just quote the tracking info to 'prove' it was delivered.
If you paid with paypal, that is another avenue where you could claim but don't try that before you try an ebay claim and an ebay claim needs to be opened within 30 days of the estimated delivery date, so keep an eye on this. Do not let any seller delay you for any reason, if you want to open a claim you must do it in those 30 days.

·1 year agoMight well be the seller has just mixed up his/her tracking numbers. ie Your looking at someone else's package. I suggest letting the seller know thete might be a problem.
