Order has not been sent after 6 days (fake australian user from china)
I think i have purchased off a scam account claming to be australian when they are not, in the photos they use an australian post label and claim to be from australia, so i purchased an item for my sons birthday in 2 weeks expecting it to be here on time considering the account claims to be australian and that they use australia post. its been 6 days since i have paid for the item and still has not been sent, ive contacted them numerous times they said they would send it 2 days ago and it still wasnt sent so i asked whats happening and now im being ignored, after looking at their feedback ive noticed others have said they never recived the item and that it took a month or longer to arrive within australia even though they claim to be located in australia. I think they are a chinese made account living in china and lying about their location and even scamming people not even sending the items. what can i do about this? thank you

·3 years agoPS Sometimes sellers fail to mark an item as sent. It is extremely annoying when this happens as you have no way of knowing if it is on its way or not. Very unprofessional of a seller, in my opinion, if they normally operate that way.
The fact the seller has not responded to you is not good. You'd think they would reply or mark it as sent if it had been.
However, power is with you. If it doesn't arrive by the ETA, open an ebay claim immediately for item not received.

·3 years agoIt makes no difference where the item is listed as located.
Just because it is listed as located in Australia, you can't assume you'll get it in days. You need to look at the expected delivery dates.
What did they say?
Sellers are well aware that if an item doesn't arrive by the expected delivery date, then a buyer can open a claim for an item not received. As a result, they are usually pretty careful to list a delivery date they can meet.
If the ETA is a month away, please do not assume that because the listing says item located in eg Melb, that the ETA can't possibly take that long and you'll have it much sooner.
Unfortunately it is not considered a scam account by ebay if the seller lists items as being here when the seller is registered overseas. It is assumed they could have a warehouse here.
You can check seller's location by clicking on their name then in the section 'about'.

·3 years agonot sure what you are bouncing up and down about, the estimated delivery date is somewhere off in the never never, not sure why you would expect it by now.
Personally I would stop responding to you if you kept harassing me as well.
But seriously it is most likely coming from china, but why oh why would you buy from someone with 96% feedback, didnt you read the feedback before purchasing.
Wait for the estimated delivery date and file an item not received claim, and take this as a lesson to check feedback and estimated delivery dates first.
Same may say harsh comments, but looking at the feedback you have left before this is not the first time you have had issues, surely you learnt from that. I guess not.

OP3 years agoI'm not sure what your talking about, you should learn to read as I am talking about how the item hasn't even been sent yet, this isn't about receiving the item. My item was never posted. And I've never purchased off this seller before I haven't left feedback. You are very rude... Read properly thanks

·3 years agoLook at their feedback page, that will tell you where they are registered - if it's China you can almost guarantee that's where the item is coming from.

OP3 years agoeveryone is saying in their feedback item has taken weeks and months to arrive within australia... is that what you mean? how do i see where they are registered ? because when i purchased it said its coming from australia, the inital listing was a fake, lying saying they live in australia and use australia post. Even so, the item has not even been sent yet. its ridiculous they shouldnt be allowed to do this to buyers and lie

It says it on the feedback page
Dollars to donuts it is China
A seller 'saying' item is in Australia does not mean the seller lives here
And if the seller is in China, MOST likely the item is too

OP3 years agoive just looked again, It says Australia. but theres no way they can be in australia when i read the feedback some people say its taken a month to arrive within australia, and if they were in australia using australia post theres no way that would take that long. they are lying. and my item hasnt even been sent yet.

·3 years agoOK, it says Australia but it sounds like they're maybe drop-shipping their items.
There's not much you can do until the final ETA has passed. At that point you can open a dispute for Item not received through eBay's Money Back Guarantee. DO NOT close it until you are satisfied with the result. Closed disputes cannot be reopened.

·3 years agoThe seller is registered in Australia 2019.
The estimated date of delivery is between 9th-12th of this month.
Depending on their handling time - the item should be marked sent within that time.
If no item has been received by 12th - open a case of item not received - immediately.
Do not ever close the case - until it is fully sorted.
Watch the dates eBay gives you to escalate the case - if no item is received.

·3 years agoAs I said look at their feedback page, where their ID is above the actual feedback, it shows where they are registered.
