It's clear you don't have a problem with it

You buyer from sellers with God awful feedback, many many negs for lying about where they ship from

The seller location is on the same page as their feedback. Worthwhile spending 5 seconds checking

The estimated delivery date is also a dead giveaway items are not sent locally

As are 'odd' prices' and photos being lifted from other websites

You can't say you don't mind buying from lying scammers but then say they shouldn't lie *too much*

It should be but it isn't and ebay probably going to change anything soon, so you have to look out for your own interests.

What dave said about checking the registration area of the seller is a great way to sort some of them. Steer clear of anyone registered in China. It won't 100% stop it happening, depends what sort of item you are buying, but check all the recent feedback as that can give a warning if others have struck the problem.

All my items are in my Australian house.

    Advertised as such.

A lot of (especially Chinese) sellers occasionally have warehouse facilities in Australia; a lot don't.

Many 'Australian' sellers dropship from, you guessed it, China, and advertise their products as being located in Australia.

It pays to check sellers' country of registration. Also delivery timeframes - they are generally a dead giveaway.

    As always caveat emptor.
