Summary: marshalwakerle_0 purchased a pneumatic tire in March 2025, expecting a 25.4 mm bore size. However, they discovered that the bore size was smaller than anticipated, prompting them to discuss the issue. lezned-toycollector, sandypebbles, and countessalmirena engage in the discussion, with countessalmirena prompting a response from marshalwakerle_0. The conversation seems focused on the discrepancy in the product's specifications.

Purchased a supposed 25.4mm bore wheelbarrow tyre but only 25.02mm as shown in photo sent to seller. Suggestions by seller were for me to file down axle (which is bizarre) then to return it for a refund (why should I do this when they mis-advertise and send an incorrect product?). They then sent me 1 correct bearing when the wheel obviously needs 2 bearings. They refuse to send me a form to update my previous excellent review I gave before trying to fit the wheel. They have offered to send more bearings but none has arrived. I am unable to make contact through Ebay as their options do not provide for my circumstance. Worst seller I have ever encountered and if nothing is done; I will definitely never buy again through Ebay.

If you paid by PayPal, you can still make a claim through PayPal Buyer Protection.

Thank you, Countess for your positive suggestion. I am 76 years' old, and my main gripe is that I was sent a wrongly advertised product

A good idea not to use any site if you do not know how it works

Anyone reading here having similar issues, like ever buyer has all the power to open the appropriate dispute within the time limit and not play games with sellers

Plus checking feedback before buying is always required

Buyers do not need to do what a seller says

You could have ignored the seller’s nonsense and opened a not as described dispute. If you do not want to do that, that is entirely your choice

Seriously??? You can't change your feedback from green to grey or red. That's not an option... and even if it were, why do you think any seller in their right mind would "send you a form" to give them a bad rating. That's just ludicrous.

If any item you purchased on eBay is not as described, you simply open a return request within 30 days of delivery.

You don't muck around wasting time to-and-fro with the seller... you just open the request - simples.

The only reason this option wouldn't be available is if you have waited longer than the 30 day time frame. If this is the case, then you have no recourse through eBay as the money back guarantee no longer applies.

As for your threat of "If nothing is done"... you're the only person who can do anything about your situation, so the empty threat looks pretty ordinary. Think about it for a minute... you're essentially saying "if I don't do anything then I'm leaving".

If you no longer wish to purchase from eBay sellers, there's really no point in announcing it on the community pages. I don't think any of us here would care one little iota. I certainly wouldn't.

I'm happy to give you some pointers on correct procedure, but knowing that you will "definitely never buy again through Ebay", there's really no point.

Good luck with your future endeavours 😊
