Purchased in Australia, Seller wants return to go to the US
As the title says, I purchased something that said it was in Victoria. It is totally the wrong part, and I initiated a return.
The return address is in California. The cost to return is going to be more than the part cost.
Do I have any way to make the seller provide a return address in Australia?
They lied originally about where the part was coming from. It was shipped out of the US or China.
TIA

OP1 year agoFeedback was fine. No major red flags I saw.
I know they can say anywhere, but if they are being that dishonest, surely they can be held to account if you need to return something.

Registered in China and their feedback is not at all fine.

·1 year agoSorry but the neg shows the seller is registered in China and their feedback is far from fine, I would have hit the back button quick smart
Did you actually open an item not as described dispute (what you need to do) or did you ask to return the item?
You open a dispute, seller gets no say if they want it back
Or avoid supporting dodgy sellers to start with
Or report them for item location misrepresentation
You, the buyer have all the power

Where is the seller registered and what is their feedback like
(Things to look at before buying)
The seller could say the item was located anywhere
