Received empty package now getting threats from seller
Summary: chri49692 mentioned receiving an empty package and is now facing threats from the seller. countessalmirena and springyzone responded, although their messages lacked additional content or context.
I'm new to this so not sure exactly if this is the right place to put these things. I purchased an item and there was plenty of bubble wrap but no item. At first I thought it must be a mistake so I did a return. The seller kept avoiding sending the postage label. Eventually ebay fixed it up for me without the sellers help. I left a feedback, I felt a bit bad but wanted to warn others. But I have since received an sms message saying to revise the feedback and you don't know who you're dealing with. I did a report on Ebay but never heard anything back. How common is this and should I be worried?

·1 year agoI don't think it is common and I think you should do as countess advised.
Don't reply to the message and don't revise feedback. I would say the seller is trying to bluff you. Even the biggest gangster in Australia is unlikely to come after you over one feedback comment. Plus they have had other negatives from other buyers, so you're not alone.
Their positives are all as a buyer and from what i can see, as a seller they have received almost all negatives.

You should get a case number. Report this to eBay quoting that, together with the threatening text message.
