Refund to a different creditcard or account
Dear Ebay Community,
I recently purchased an item on behalf of a family member and they paid on their creditcard using my Ebay account but their delivery address. Their creditcard was recently updated and they have a new card. The item had to be returned so I am wondering where the refund will end up? Please help as the seller said to Ask Ebay about the refund?????

I'd usually say have your family member contact their bank and ask what can be done
But I'm not sure if it would work if they bought through your eBay account
Did they link the old card to your account?
And is it still there or did they remove it after buying?

As far as I am aware, refunds go back to the funding source
No idea where it will end up if the correct details are'nt on file
It's not the seller's responsibility in any case
