i am tryto return item. the seller send item from somewhere australia. when i ask for return address is US.i cant found real people at ebay to help me. i am quit ebay amazon better

·1 year agoIf you're dealing with Amazon directly then yes, in my experience, the returns process for any reason is very easy.
You probably wish you had IF your problem item was bought from the seller who last left you feedback because it looks like:
1) You're in Taiwan
2) The seller's in China
3) The item was posted from Australia
4) The seller wants the item returned to America
To contact eBay, go to eBay Help at the top of the page, follow the prompts until you get to the automated assistant then ask to speak to a supervisor.

·1 year agoIf you bought an item listed as in Australia, then in my opinion if there is a return needed, it should be to an address in Australia.
You need to contact ebay. Do not send a message, contact them, go through the help pages and you should be able to chat to someone.
As lezned said, a lot depends on why you need to return the item.
If it is faulty, you need to open a proper ebay claim, do not try to do it privately with the seller.
If you do it through ebay, the seller has to provide the postage payment.
If you are wanting to return the item because of a change of mind, then yes, you have to go through the seller and not all sellers allow returns but if someone will allow a return, then I think it should be to an Australian address if they have advertised their items as being in Australia. It is worth a chat with ebay about it, anyway.
The key to buying on ebay is to always double check things and make sure you really want an item before you order and pay for it. And always check where the seller is located, as well as where the item is.

·1 year agoSorry, I should have included this information in my previous post... if you're trying to contact a live person from eBay, you need to do so between the hours of 9am and 7pm AET (Sat - Sun) or 8am and 8pm AET (Mon - Fri)

·1 year agoI'm assuming your transaction is Australia based - not Taiwan.
What is the reason for the return?
If it's a change of mind return, you are liable for the postage charges and should ship it (with tracking) to the address provided by the seller.
If it's not a change of mind return, have you opened a return request? If not, you need to do so within 30 days of the delivery date. In this scenario, there's no need at all to ask for a return address as it will already be displayed on the shipping label the seller provides.
