Returns and Refunds
Failing to make mention of missing components which directly affect an items usability is disingenuous and satisfies ebay's outlined requirements determining when an item is 'not as described'.
Are there any buyer options available if the seller does not accept returns and the 30 day money back guarantee period has expired?

·6 months agoThe best thing you can do is read sandy's and casey's posts through a couple of times and take note.
You had a great chance there to open a proper ebay dispute for an item not as described. I am pretty sure you would have won but you had 30 days in which to do it and you have let that opportunity pass you by.
You do not have to ask the seller, you could have done it yourself. I get the impression you wasted time asking the seller privately about a return. Never bother with that.
Even had you opened a claim though, you might have struck another headache.
Usually if something is not as described, a seller in Australia has to provide a postage label for the buyer to return it. That way, the buyer is not out of pocket.
But when a seller is overseas, they cannot provide that postage label, which complicates the entire process.
It's worth thinking of that before you buy from any ad which shows the seller to be registered overseas.
Don't mistake that as being the same thing as item location, it is not. Always click on seller name till you get to look at information about that seller. It will tell you where they are registered and when they registered.
None of that will help with your current problem (unless your bank approves a chargeback) but it is worth remembering if you plan to use ebay again in the future.

·6 months agoYou're out of options for eBay and Paypal if it's past the 30 days.
You may be able to do a chargeback through your bank

·6 months agoNot through eBay, no
The time limit is 30 days
If it was not as the listing described, why wait until you were out of time to open a dispute?
seller not accepting returns means change of mind only, if the item is no as described, they don't have a choice
The only feedback you have on the account you are posting with is from a dodgy seller in Singapore
Is this the item in question?
For any buyer to be covered by the eBay MBG they need to take action within the 30 day time limit
Checking feedback before buying, and taking notice of the negs other buyers have left also avoids a lot of issues
