    Yes, problems are

Mine used Android 8 , verified when I tech investigated it.

    Runs extremely  slow.

Will not update to newer Android  system

    Will not hotspot.

    Will not run 7/11 app.

Will not run some apps properly.

    Battery life is poor.

    Basic fake.

So why didn't you open a dispute for "item not as described" ?

You bought the same fake phone and expected it not to be fake?

Or a different phone which also turned out to be fake?

Was it also from a dodgy seller in China?

    Other members can only say

Don't buy knock off phones from dodgy sellers so many times

They will always be knock off phones/fake

    There will always be issues

Don't buy them and expect anything else

And, as mentioned, if you did not get what the listing said it was, why did you not open a dispute?

As already stated more than once, the listing says "unbranded". It is slightly deceptive because it also says S22, so I guess they basically copied the look of the S22, but you always have to read listings thoroughly and carefully. It was a bit of a trick to mention S22, but it was unrealistic to think it was Samsung, even from China.

97% positive feedback and 109 revised fb would make me run away to be honest. Even its positive fb is actually negative ("product not as expected").

You've only got a feedback score of 5, which probably indicates you haven't used ebay a lot.

There isn't one regular poster here that I know of who would dream of buying that sort of item from China.

You asked if anyone here had had problems. Nope (for the reason above-plus this is a smallish forum so the odds of someone else buying the exact same thing are small). But if you click on your seller's feedback, and then on the recent negatives and scroll through, you'll see at least one other buyer has.

These are some feedback comments I saw about phones.

Phone arrived with a tiny "cut and paste" instruction manual with poor translation. Cannot work out correct way to insert Sim Card. Suspect item is faulty, but cannot be sure until given adequate information.

Mobile cannot be connected to mobile network in Australia Very disappointed nice looking phone

Ebay is fine for some purchases but not others.

    # Never, ever buy electrical or electronic items or anything needing a warranty from random ebay sellers.

    # Especially don't buy that sort of stuff from China. If you want to buy some cheap craft items or the like from China, fine. But absolutely steer clear of the sort of things that can actually be dangerous if not made to Australian standards.

    # Don't assume that because it is coming from China, that is why it is dirt cheap, compared to here. Chinese prices are not dirt cheap for the genuine items.

You probably got exactly what was described, you weren't sold a fake Samsung. But even so, it is meant to work so make an ebay claim now-follow everything jellybird says and get a refund.

If you re-read those feedback comments plus others the seller has been given, you'll see that it doesn't sound as if those buyers had opened claims (not that they are allowed to mention it in feedback). But even with problems, one was still messing around trying to get further instructions. That's how these sellers get away with it. Obviously some buyers just don't open ebay claims for a refund.

The listing you have indicated, is not for a SAMSUNG S22 ULTRA, in fact it is not for a SAMSUNG phone at all.

The seller is in China,  and the  phone is  UNBRANDED   model s22

Cheap knockoff  (yes)  but it does not claim to be anything else.

Seller registered in China with less than ideal feedback score for a high volume business.

Their negative feedback would have sent most of us running in another direction.

Hardly likely that you will get a genuine product from random third party Chinese sellers.

On top of which there are no warranties on Ebay.

Why not buy from a local Aus business, support our economy and get an Australian backed warranty?

The only thing you can do is open a case for Item Not as Described. If the seller wants it back, they will need to send you return postage funds (since they are overseas), or they will need to refund you. Never send anything back that is faulty or wrong your own expense. Do not close the case until you have the refund.

I would not buy a mobile phone on eBay, especially not from a seller in China

and especially not when they already have so many negs for selling rubbishy phones

    What was the issue?

Did you open a dispute if it is not as described ?

Your heading says it is a fake Samsung, the listing gives the brand as unbranded

    That aside

Was there a SIM card that came with it that you cannot get in

Or are you trying to use a SIM card you already have of your own?

Really not worth saving a small amount of money buying unbranded rubbish from China

b&m stores sell branded phones for not that much more, that actually work, have a warranty and comply with Australian standards

    The listing states unbranded.

Did you think you were getting a Samsung for $86?

Are you using the right size sim?

Open a case for Item not as described to get your money refunded - and don't buy from Chinese sellers .

C'mon stawks. You can get a real S22 Ultra for $1500. Surely $86 is not a stretch for a clone?
