I'm looking for help regarding a seller cancelling an order for a product on Buy It Now stating they priced it incorrectly (lower price than what they should have). As a consumer, that's not my fault that they failed to list it at the "correct price" and I want to keep my order. Any suggestions on how to go about this or rectify this situation would be great. From what i gather on Ebay's seller's policy the seller is now allowed to cancel an order for pricing it wrong.

·10 months agoBottom line is you can't force the sale.
Without knowing more details, it is a bit hard to take sides on this one.
No, it is not your fault that the item was incorrectly listed. But on the other hand, if the seller made a genuine error (let's say $29 instead of $290), then sure, careless, but we're all human and I wouldn't expect them to honour it. I wouldn't myself, if selling. I'd take the ding.
If, on the other hand, it was listed as $40 and they now have seller regret and want to relist ar $80, sure, they can cancel (and price is only one reason they might cancel) but again, s long as they list it as a seller cancellation, there will be a penalty.
If your item has been cancelled and you have been refunded (if you paid) nothing much you can do except move on and avoid that seller in future.

·10 months agoHad you already paid when the seller notified you ?
If yes and you've received a cancellation notification , what does it say ?
What is the item number, without giving the seller's name ?

·10 months agoNothing you can do, eBay is not going to force the seller to honour the sale

·10 months agoYes, the seller is allowed to cancel a listing/sale if they've entered the wrong price, but they may get penalised by eBay for doing so.
Nothing you can do about it, just buy from another seller, or if the new listing's price is within your budget, buy from that seller.
