Seller made threats in message when asked why the item I bought was advertised as new unused and the

Summary: In the forum discussion, 96251408 raised an issue concerning a seller who made threats after being questioned about an item sold as new and unused. twyngwyn, lezned-toycollector, and springyzone joined the conversation. The dialogue included a feedback loop mostly between springyzone and sandypebbles, with exchanges aimed at understanding and addressing the situation. However, the details of how the participants intended to resolve the threat or any advice given were not clearly captured.

I recently bought 7 boxes of transparency sheets from a seller in America her advert said new unused but that some of the boxes had been opened, when the order arrived 163 sheets were missing, I asked for a refund which she did not do the full amount, however not really worried about the above but I am concerned about the threats and statements she put in her message 1. God don't like ugly and 2. she prayed I had the kind of day I deserved.

I paid immediately, I bought in good faith, I thought if condition stated new unused that I would be sent that boxes contain 100 sheets one of the boxes contained 51 sheets.

How can I notify Ebay this seller is not doing the right thing and is making threats?

I don't think those were threats as such but they were most certainly intentional insults and totally uncalled for.

The seller is a nasty piece of works and incompetent to boot. Incompetent is being kind as dishonest & sneaky springs to mind. She must have known some sheets were missing if one box only had 51 sheets out of 100. Or else she failed to check, which would mean slack and incompetent. God don't like lazy.

You are totally entitled to get what you paid for. If something is advertised as new & unused though the packet is open, you have every right to assume the contents are intact.

It is sounding as if she gave you a partial refund.

I think you can report a seller to ebay if you feel messages were insulting or nasty. No harm in having a go, anyway.

Plus feedback. Just say the item was advertised as new unused but box had been opened but when you received it, 163 pages were actually missing and that had not been mentioned in the ad. When you politely messaged the seller you felt insulted by her reply as she said God don't like ugly. And you could not recommend her as a seller.

    Give her a negative.

The seller had countless negs warning people they were dishonest and dodgy

And their photos were lifted from other websites

    Good detective work.

How did you work out the seller?

    It was there originally

No way I would have risked buying once I saw how they'd lifted photos from other dodgy sites, let alone of the red dots saying seller was dishonest about literally everything you can name

And the negs stretch back from 'over a year ago', so they have always been like it

It is such a pity people don't pay more attention to the feedback.

It can certainly show if there is a recurring trend.

I would be pushing the back button too if I saw a sea of negatives like that.

It's one of the reasons I think feedback is important or can be useful.

I don't see any threats in what you've posted. I think everyone should have the kind of day they deserve, and depending on the religious beliefs, the other statement could be considered to be true
