Seller not responding...
Summary: The discussion revolves around a user's concern with a seller who is not responding. soozjon expressed frustration regarding the lack of communication, and *casey* participated in the discussion with multiple responses, although the specific content of their interactions is not detailed. sandypebbles also responded to soozjon, though the exact details of the reply are unspecified.
I placed an order on 15th May and had a notification that my order had been delivered on 27th May. On opening the small parcel, I found that it is not what I had ordered ie a piece of camping equipment but instead I received a bag of Lego pieces (just a smidge different). It took three messages to the seller before I heard back from them requesting a clear photo of the delivery. I sent that immediately. I have had no correspondence from them since then. It is now 6 days and I have in total written 6 messages. I have asked if there was an issue at their end, ie illness etc but I am hearing nothing back. This is the first time I have ever had such a drawn out issue. Surely it should have been handled quicker and I still do not know when or if I will ever receive my order. The seller has a good reputation (until now) and a long association with eBay. What's your thoughts? Thanks...

OP4 months agoJust a follow-up. I did as Casey suggested and I received notification last Friday, that I should have received a return postage label. I hadn't, so contacted the seller. Have heard nothing back and the label did not arrive today 😞 Very frustrating dealing with this seller....

·4 months agoNo point in contacting the seller again, they are not going to respond, they are beyond dodgy
as soon as it allows you to do so,ask eBay to step in within the dispute

·4 months agoYes, keep an eye on the dispute.
A couple of recent threads have suggested that eBay's automatically stepped in after 3 business days with no response from the seller , but don't rely on it.
The minute you see the link to "Ask eBay to step in," use it

Presuming it's the dropshipping seller who's left you feedback.
These days, always take note of eBay positive automated feedback..
The seller has 330 positive feedback NOT left by buyers.

Return Request > Item not as described
The seller will have 3 business days to refund you or send you a return label with tracking .
If the seller doesn't respond within that time, you can ask eBay to step in
