Seller & Warrant on Alfordson computer chair
The gas cylinder of the chair that is under warranty is inoperative. The seller is proposing I pay $35 postage for the replacement items and that I then undertake the repair. The issue was reported to the seller on the 15th. March and remains unresolved. The seller sent me a link to what was to be instructions on making repairs. The link was not accessible. I don't see why the responsibility for making repairs is put upon the byer. The seller should take responsibility. An option would be to have a repairer who the seller has certified to undertake repairs. I am 69 years old, have arthritis and I'm not technically minded. In addition I have anxiety and depression and this muddling around is not conducive to my mental health.
Can you please intervene and assist with a fair resolution to this warranty issue?

·3 years agoTo add, Alfordson have an Australian website, contact them and ask of your seller is an Authorised Distributor of their goods. IF they are then you can move forward with a warranty claim, if not then you have no avenue for a claim.

Did it arrive in this condition (with inoperative gas cylinder)?
How did you pay?
And… where is the seller registered?

·3 years agoYour age and mental state is irrelevant to buying online. It would suggest that you'd be better off buying from a reputable store, either online or a B&M.
