·1 year agoWhat I don't understand is, you claim to be a long time Ebayér, yet you buy from people with Feedback in the toilet, than threaten to leave, don't leave, but read the feedback and be prepared for the consequences if you don't.

·1 year agoSpecsavers for me.
Where did the OP "threaten to leave"?
I agree that the seller's feedback is less than stellar.
domino-710
·1 year agoThey didn't - the only time ' leave ' was mentioned - was the 30 day limit.
Comprehension - well - we know.
And the acute on Ebayer - rather posh. LOL

·1 year agoThanks I was aware of that.
Don't know about "'comprehension " but any opportunity for a barb at an OP as usual....

OP1 year agoThanks to you all for responding, really appreciate the feedback, its great to get good advice, as you mention, I did open a case and within 10 minutes refund issued. Perhaps should have looked at the feedback as it was similar, the truth has a certain ring to it, they dont want to sell under cost, and they have stopped their listing starting price from the low no bid zone, oh and I dropped their rating from 99,1 to 99.0%, the colective is greater than the individual, peace,

·1 year agoFantastic news!
Once you called their bluff, they obviously knew they couldn't keep delaying you.
I don't believe the seller's feedback was so low that you could have predicted the problem. They were at 99.1 % and advertised as a top rated seller. The main problem they have seems to be sending out faulty products. And even if you read the neg and neutral feedback, a couple of the neutrals should (in my opinion) have been positives.
I think the lesson though is that when sellers try delaying tactics, it is best to open an official claim asap as they can try to mess you around but once it is with ebay, they pretty much have to refund.

·1 year agoSeriously, they are giving you the run around.
I don't think this seller is being honest with you. First you get 2 wrong scans and then the logistics company say they lost the parcel? Too much going on.
I'd play their game right back with a 'friendly' reply, just saying thank you, I have read your message and I do not want to wait. I have decided I would like the full refund immediately.
Then watch. Any seller should be able to make the refund on the spot.
You say they are a big retailer so there should be daily monitoring of ebay. If you do not have the refund within 24 hours, go straight into an ebay claim. whatever you do though, make sure you open the ebay claim before the 30 days pass.

·1 year agoOpen a item not received case, dont play their game to let the 30 days pass. Who cares how much they have sold or how desperate you may be for the item. They are playting games, you will be the victim.

Don't wait - that would put you out of eBay's MBG timeframe.
Take the refund.

·1 year agoAs soon as the last estimated delivery date has passed open a case for Item Not Received. It seems the seller is trying to play you, Be aware that the seller HAS uploaded tracking. What are the specific issues the seller has identified? Is there a problem with your address? As in, does AP recognise it? It's easy enough to check.
You will get your money back if you open a valid case and then can buy from a seller with ethics.
