Stop seeing USA listings when I search
Summary: harda_henr expressed frustration with the inability to filter out USA listings on eBay, noting that the high freight costs are a concern and that they prefer not to buy from the USA. The discussion seems to focus on improving search filters for a better shopping experience.
Hi all
Is there a way to stop having USA listings come up when I search? Other countries are fine, but I don't know whats gone on with US shipping lately, and that bargain item is often $400+ to ship to Australia.

·1 month agoeBay needs to allow filter by country. All of a sudden the USA tops most of my searches and the freight is ridiculous. I am not interested in buying from the USA I need to be able to filter it out !

·1 month agoYou will need to tell eBay
Or search by distance from your postcode instead
You say you are a computer guru so it ought not be too hard

·5 months agoI don't have a fix for this, but my work around includes selecting free-postage or changing the distance to nearest first etc. It's annoying because USA postage is excessive for OS buyers and it is not worth buying anything from the USA for most common items.

·9 months agoI feel your pain, a couple of my searches are overloaded with US items - useless here because they're 110volts - but eBay will not let us filter by country.
Imagine being able to filter out Chinese sellers...................ain't gonna happen.
