Temu items being sold on Ebay
I have come across a number of items, particularly make-up, scarves and accessories, and kids' stuff being sold on Ebay at inflated prices to what they are on Temu. I don't like this. I suppose if buyes aen't aware there's no harm in it; however, Temu is not a wholesaler.

·8 months agoUnfortunately quite okay with ebay, as long as it isn't arriving to you direct from Temu.
The problem of course is safety as a lot of products that arrive direct from China could have dangerous or harmful chemicals or components etc
It isn't just happening on ebay, by the way. There are a number of scam shops with names that make buyers think it is in Australia eg Byron Bay Boutique etc and that it is closing down with 80% off sales. People who buy are reporting that (if they receive anything at all) that it is an item available on Temu for a tenth of the price.
Your best bet is to do a photo search on google as it will often show up identical photos and their site. I guess though that you are already doing this or similar. Unfortunately, you can't really help other buyers, just protect yourself.
I suppose if an ebay buyer receives their item, it is not exactly a scam as sellers can source stock anywhere but buyers probably need to be vigilant these days as ebay isn't what I would call a totally safe buying site the way eg Myer might be.

·8 months agoOnly mentioned - makeup - scarves & accessories.
Hardly dangerous.
Not sure about the makeup - that could be questionable. LOL

·8 months agoI would say makeup sold on a site like Temu would have enough lead to make roughly five million HB pencils
The scarves etc would also be of an ultra ultra high fire danger (as seen with the children's clothes bought off Temu that have injured children for life)
Just one example of what one can expect from Temu tripe

·8 months agoYes true, but those sites are not widely known for selling death trap items and scammers skimming everyone's details

·8 months agoBuyers would be aware if they looked at what they are buying and who from
It is very easy to spot these items, usually from dodgy as sellers with feedback in the toilet and the photos they use are so obviously lifted from scum sites like Temu
If buyers cared for five seconds about who they were buying from, these dodgy as the day is long sellers wouldn't be around for as long as they are
Sadly buyers are happy to buy garbage from garbage sellers
