Warranty not Honored
I purchased a Dyson battery in June 22 which was advertized with a 5 yr warranty. The battery failed after 21 months. The seller refuses to honor the warranty stating it only carries a 1 yr warranty which is correct at the present time. I have since filed 2 reports to ebay on their official form and to date dont have any response, each report stating "Report Submission Failed". Why is this so ?

·2 years agoUnless you bought from an Australian registered and authorised seller/reseller of the battery, the "warranty" is meaningless.

There are no warranties on eBay otherwise
If, in the unlikely event the seller was an autorised seller/reseller for Dyson, go directly to Dyson
eBay do not supply nor enforce warranties
Most of your feedback comes from sellers in China, including one who sells batteries marked 'for' certain brands (not) the actual brand
