I bought an IPhone 13 Pro Max from a seller on eBay with 24 months warranty, about 10 months in I started having troubles with the sound I contacted the seller and they advised me to take it to a shop to have it fixed I told them I lived 350 km away from nearest apple shop the reply from them was do you live far away from a post office I said no, that was the last I heard from them. My phone then was diagnosed by Apple and the result was a repair for $1048 which is unacceptable for a phone not even a year old I contacted the seller again but they do not reply at all and my phone has now completely died. Can I get anywhere restitution for this.

·5 months agoThere is NO warranty unless the seller is an authorised seller/re-seller of the brand and registered in Australia
(it does not matter what the ad 'said') it is not real and not enforceable
You cannot do anything if you did not buy from an authorised seller (and if you did and said authorised seller is not responding, you would need to notify Apple and see what they advise )
There is nothing you can do through eBay after all this time
