why doesn't my watchlist list items that i am watching, i have 5 items in my watchlist and when i select my watchlist nothing appears.

It seems to be a glitch that comes and goes especially immediately after friday which is eBay's maintenance day.
Try logging into the USA site and see if they appear there. ebay.com without the au at the end.
