Why does ebay allow sellers in China to fraudulently say they are located in Australia

There are so many sellers located in China saying they are in Australia and postage takes longer than stated, I have purchased from these sellers and the items are sent from China, the packaging has Chinese writing and post marks, eBay must be desperate for sellers, If ebay had any guts they would kick these fraudulent sellers of eBay, Or at minimum not allow them to say they are in Australia,

There not going to do that eBay wants it's money and doesn't care how  as I said as long as they get there money ,I would not be surprised of the Chinese government paid a lot of money just to be able to send this  everywhere

I am also sick of this I have just bought something that was suppose to be in Sydney but was actually in the UK but did arrive in a reasonable time frame but I'm also arguing with a seller that state it takes 20 days for a letter sized item to come from Vic to NSW stating he got this time frame of auspost but on research I found it said 4-5 days from their postcode to mine. Have the decency and say it's coming from China. Also how can a seller have their location as Hong Kong but say their company is based in Australia.

Even if it comes in a decent time, it's a problem if it needs to be returned so yes, sellers should state the true location of items.

I went to office of one company base in Adelaide and it was just a big empty condemned building I laughed at quite funny they actually had a picture of it that didn't look the same about yeah I was in the right address I think a double check that told eBay they'll look into it that was 12 months ago this still selling online with the same location as their office so obviously eBay's done a lot as I said before they don't care as long as they get their money

It can happen.      It's called dropshipping.

Maybe brother/cousin Huang Lee (for instance) lives in Australia, and stores the stuff in a warehouse in Sydney, for his brother/cousin living in China, who sells the item on ebay.

And then posting said item within Australia.

There are quite a lot of them that do it this way.
