Why doesn't Ebay include the $34.05 postage costs in their cost of an actual DVD

I saw a DVD today on the Ebay website. It's called Love Kills, made in 1998. Stars Lesley Anne Warren, Daniel Baldwin and Mario Van Peebles. This DVD was advertised as $3.50. Look a bit closer and at the bottom of the Ebay page, you see a $34.05 postage charge, and Ebay then claim the cost is $0.88 cents over 4 fortnightly payments with Afterpay. So I reported Ebay to Fair Trading. For too long now Ebay have acted in a dishonest and unethical manner

"Unfortunately, this buyer believes they are talking directly to eBay"
Some of it seems to indicate that you didn't read the listing correctly and in that respect, is abuse of the feedback system.
Nothing more obvious of this abuse is negative feedback:
"This DVD has a falsely advertised cover of an attractive woman who is actually a fat non attractive woman"

eBay do not sell anything
The DVD is located in Italy
How much did you expect postage from Italy to Australia was going to be?
As for the last line of your complaint, you are the one making the choice to buy from dodgy sellers with feedback in the gutter, all the negs you've left are a result of your poor buying choices
