Early Australian Pottery? Help Needed Please

I am hoping someone recognises either the style, or the pottery on this vase, I picked it up on a whim because it is a striking piece and it does look like Oz Pottery, but I do not know for sure. It is huge - 45 cms tall, 19 cms diameter, the all over pattern is sharply incised, which is unusual, and the signature is incised as well - "Kirry Art Pottery" and "TB" I will post another couple of pics in the next post as well. Many thanks in advance cheers Rae For some reason the photos are not showing up in the post :-(, click on the attachments link at the top of the post please to see them.

MyCollection Feature - Sports and Non Sports TCG

Has anyone used the My Collection tool? Although it is not available in Australia, I have been using the ebayUS version and I love it and think it's a pretty handy tool. It has everything plus more than the paid premium apps have like live value, scan and detailed catalogue except it's free. Like totally free. Not only can you keep track of your collection, you can basically organise it how ever you like with custom folders and the ability to save cards in multiple folders example You could have all of your Series and Set folders and then have a Shinys folder so you don't have to look to hard for anything special. You have multiple options for entering or uploading, full manual entry, using the ebay catalogue, Bulk CSV upload and Scan. All of which have there benefits. Manual is good if you want to put particular details in sadly it doesnt seem to then link it with catalogue data like sales and pricing, using the ebay catalogue then references the card to graded and raw pricing,  sales history and current listing's definitely has some small issues which shouldn't by any means have to do with lacking data as ebay data is used in every app but some cards come up as not found even though I've had no issues entering them on other apps, bulk is great if you have a heap to enter but you do need to go in later to put in more details and the Scan feature is just so easy but it still has a few kinks and needs some minor improvements. Another great way to add cards that isn't listed in the Add Card Button options is by going to the Manage Collection link and selecting the Add purchases to collections option, if you have this feature on everytime you make a purchase it will automatically be in your collection. It is linked to PSA Vault if you have any graded cards and if you are using some other app it allows you to download your collection (if of course it's an option on your app) it is so simple to upload it without having to make edits. Want to sell it? Click a button and boom its listed. This is for sure the best collection tracking and management system I have used. I need it in my life like yesterday. ebay please release this in Austalia sooner rather than later.

HH $2 dollar Australian coins 1988 and 1989

To all you scammers trying to sell these rubbish coins. Do your homework before you go ripping people off.  A worthless coin. So many scam eBay ads and you're all stupid. Truly dumb picking this obviously worthless coin to rip people off with. Luckily Ebay are well aware and will take them down if we report them.   DO NOT BUY THESE COINS. THEY ARE WORTHLESS.

Risks of Selling An Expensive Item

I have been selling trading cards for a while and have really only sold cards of value up to $100 with some upwards of $300. I now have a card which I am attempting to sell for $3500 and am just looking for advice on what some of the risks may be in selling and posting more expensive items and what other sellers do to mitigate these risks?   Cheers.

      Reproduction Barsony Ladies H 19

The latest repros or fakes on the market are now selling on ebay as the real thing.   I went to an antique centre in Sydney last week and saw 4 of the same figures for sale in 4 shops and all were marked H-19. The sellers showed varying degrees of honesty in their descriptions but all were priced fairly in the range of $99 to 120. They all had silly necklaces which is obviously not original to Barsony ladies.   They are a much matter black than the real thing which has a shine to the surface and the bases are poorly finished with out a foot rim. So any real Barsony fan would know them in an instant as repro. But so many people want Barsony now that these will sell like hot cakes to the less experienced buyers.   This one was listed yesterday 290654904038 and another went on today for an even greater price and it is just not fair to those poor buyers.   So be on the look out for the next model that will be produced very soon I would think,   Pip

      Australian 50 Cent Coins

It seems the 50 cent coins have been taken over by scamers - rediculous prices for common coins - why doesn't ebay do something about this?

Recent stamps being sold for half the face value

In the business/postage/stamps category, there are many listings from a group of sellers of current stamps still being sold at the post office in boxes of 100 or booklets panes, sheets, etc at half the face value. The sheer volume of these stamps indicates that there may be a ring stealing these products & selling them on eBay. How could there possibly be so much recent brand new issues as soon as they come out at the post office

eBay - let the buyer beware. Fakes reported and eBay AI (useless) says okay

eBay always had a problem with fakes and unmarked replicas. You would report them and sometimes (rarely) someone would look into it and maybe take some action. Now it is referred to AI that does nothing at all. Never buy ANYTHING from eBay where their could be ANY doubt because eBay won't support you. They will support the scammers breaking their OWN policies to make money.

No free post for trading cards ???

I'm trying to list some sci fi trading cards under "Collectables > Non-Sport Trading Cards" and can not set postage to letter type or even free post. For some reason eBay thinks the card typically way over a kilogram and only offers parcel post. If I set "flat rate - same cost regardless of buyer location" there is no box to enter the flat rate. What on earth is going on?

Even Decimal coins are now being faked - Buyer Beware

My wife informed me about an article on the threepence blog about a fake 2000 mule dollar which at first I thought that someone had just pressed or stamped the extra rim onto the coin but on reading the article it became apparent that someone is now mass producing counterfeit copies of Australian decimal coins. Have a look at theses listings  162939961163 173206834593 & 173197641793 Yes that is correct, all of these are very poor quality fake decimal coins that uneducated buyers are spending their money on. The Federal Police need to be investigating this.

ID for T Limoge porcelain item please fake or not

Hallo it appears I have inadvertently sold a piece of porcelain as Limoges -  the buyer  told me I had no shame and that it was a fake ($14 paid). I have apologised for selling a fake (not for having no shame, I did not appreciate that remark!) and cancelled the transaction. It is a little jug, approx 11cm high. But to set MY mind at peace, can Limoges enthusiasts shed some light on what appears to be a fake (where do these come from?). Sadly, I bought it some years ago after being told it was Limoges. Live and learn!
