What did you think of the result last night? It was an exciting game - I think they were both afraid it would end in a draw and they would have to continue playing until they got a result. I was pleased the Doggies won though - old dislike of the Pies reared its head lol.

I know you will be barracking for the Demons tonight - I am of two minds as I have always preferred the Blue Baggers but hey - time will tell.

If it had to be any team I am glad it was the Navy Blues - I have always liked them. They played incredibly well!

No matter, we now have a week off and will be given a serve from Justin Longmuir in his usually gentlemanly manner and lift their next game!!!

Recent events following the Swans last match certainly have impacted on the finals Kopes!

I saw Matthew Pavlich interviewed - could never understand his move to the Swans but I guess that was just his career choice following his retirement from playing - and was sort of pleased he was there today as I felt he was a far better reasoned voice than Pridham. Five of them out for the rest of the season!!!

Too much of that misogynist behaviour across ALL sports - hopefully this might be a wake-up call but honestly I very much doubt it.

Great to see your post when I logged in this morning  😊

I have been otherwise occupied and have not been here often - Giro d'Italia,  the French Open, soon the Tour de France AND Wimbledon - an embarrassment of riches!

To top it off, our Dockers are back up in the top 8 - for how long who knows but it is fun to support them.

Understand what you are saying about your Tigers - we have lived with that for years and when you come to think of it - it is only a game.  There is so much more to be concerned about in the world these days.

I laughed when I saw the nude swim for the Dark MOFO in Hobart to celebrate the solstice - getting too old for that these days 😏

Condolences to Karen's friends. My husband passed away two years ago sadly. I have been travelling since. Back home for the winter.
