Does anyone have a new Telstra 4G wifi modem? I have some questions please.
Hi, I am trying out a new Telstra 4G wifi mobile broadband set up. The 4G modem has a battery as it is supposed to be mobile. But I am mainly using it at home. I have been told not to leave it plugged into the power. But it is inconvenient to have another thing that I now have to check the power level of all the time so I know whether it needs charging. Is it possible to take out the battery and just leave it plugged in? Does anyone here do that? The girl in the shop said NO but if it works I don't see why not? Does anyone have any experiences to share here? Good or Bad? I really need some feedback on this because I am not sure if I will keep it at home and cut off the home phone/net, or take it to my shop. Does anyone have problems with drop outs? Or with connecting to it? Does anyone have a mobile broadband plan with a modem that actually can be left plugged into the power? My current moden is just plugged in all the time so I can forget about it. This new mobile one is a pain because I have to first push the button on the modem before I can use my computer. Then I have to check when it needs charging, which differs depending on how much it's used. Please can someone with experience give me some information and tips on how to get the most out of mobile broadband at home?

I bought 2 batteries for my cordless tools in June 2023. They were sold with 5 years warranty. They are now not at their best, one is not taking charge at all. I have contacted the seller twice but have had no response. What can I do to have the working batteries? Cheers

Reporting electrically unsafe item (Unsafe adapter) - report or request return?
I bought a bathroom item and it has an EU plug on it with one of those gray AU adapters. Online they're listed as illegal to use and sell in Australia as they have started fires and are electrically unsafe. I suspect that the seller who listed the location of the item in Australia actually got it from China, as they only lodged the tracking number with australia post and it didn't actually get posted for another week. The seller denied doing this. Do I report the listing or open a return? There's no category for returning due to electrically unsafe.

TV Video Game Stick Retro Gaming
I bought the above gaming stick in February, it arrived last week. However every game we have looked at has glitches, also menu also glitches. I bought it as a guest, but have worked out my eBay account and password now. I contacted the seller to ask for a replacement, I have sent 2 emails containing screenshots of the purchase and order number, they keep saying there is no attachment, but I can see them on my end. I’m an elder person, and not great on computers anymore. I just want the my order replacement, help??

Incorrect features in fast fill listings for come cameras.
I have noticed that many sellers are advertising a used Canon 1500D DSLR as a mirrorless camera. The 1500D is a crop sensor camera with the EF-S lens mount and was released around 2018. I contacted one seller about this and apparently they are using autofill to complete their listings without any idea as to what in contained in that description. I am not sure who to contact on Ebay about this. This is probably only one of many autofill descriptions that are incorrect which could land sellers in hot water for a false description.

Lenovo - no international warranty
I bought a Lenovo laptop on ebay 2 months ago, shipped from US to Australia, that is now not working properly. Lenovo confirmed that the issue would be covered under the US warranty, but that there is no international warranty, and so will not provide any assistance. Any recommendations?

500 000 mAh power banks are fraud - that's a decent car battery! Reporting fails, matrix too narrow.
There are several sellers offering power banks with a capacity of 500 000 mAh that is impossible, given their size. One is less than palm size, so at best 5000 mAh the others look like 15 000 to 20 000 mAh, but if they contain highest quality batteries (which is doubtful, given their prices) they might approach 50 000 mAh. I have tried reporting this to eBay, however there is no provision in their reporting matrix that covers false claims in listings.
