I have just received a phone call telling me 1000.00 has been taken out of my ebay account and to hold on so they can fix it
I havnt been on ebay for a month and only bought a phone holder.

·11 months agoI hope you did not give the scammer any of your details
This is a well known and old scam
You only need to worry if you gave the scammer any of your information/details/etc
If you did, there is nothing other members here can do to help you
And if you did give the scammer any details, you need to act fast to try to minimise the damage
Such as changing all your pass words, notifying your bank etc etc (depanding what, if anything you gave out)
And if you have clicked on any links the scammer may have sent you by email or text, you will need to run a full virus scam, and then take your computer/phone/tablet to and expert to get them fully checked for malware etc
Hang up on scammers, do not engage with them, do not talk to them, and for the love of God, do not give them ANY information
