how do I remove permission for ebay to auto pay my purchases

     Simple - don't use eBay.

I'm sure I'm not the only one wanting to know why you don't want to pay for your purchases in a timely manner. Please elucidate

Some people like to use Afterpay or go through PayPal. Believe it or not not everyone wants a computer program making their payments for them. Use your head.

ebay's auto pay is nothing more than a money making scam by ebay.

i have made two offers in the last 24 hours, both times i was forced

& had no choice but to use the auto pay option. i spoke with ebay on

the phone " they lied " & stated that only the seller can put this payment

option in place, i contacted the seller who informed me they had no

knowledge & had not put into place auto pay. buyers are now locked

out of waiting for combined postage & are again being ripped - off by

ebay who are keeping the extra postage customers are paying to sellers.

this is illegal & a money grab by ebay. i will not use ebay again after being a ebay buyer for over 12 years. " shame on you ebay "

    Derek

eBay are nit going to read your rant no matter how loudly you yell. Look at it this way, you managed to 'talk to eBay on the phone' when the call center closed over three years ago so you are luckier than most. Glad to hear you are leaving, the less people throwing tantrums and making up nonsense the better. Don't forget to tell eBay, they are not going to notice or know if you leave or not

Ebay does not pocket any extra postage you might pay, while their fee applies to the total invoice, the balance including any extra postage is paid to the seller. Your seller has the option to refund you any amount they think fair, or they can just pocket it. Your seller may also have immediate payment required in their listing setting, which means you can not request a total invoice via the cart.

I am assuming you refer to PayPal payments for your purchases on eBay.

At some point you would have given permission for auto login. Disable internet your PayPal settings: https://www.paypal.com/myaccount/security/autoLogin/manage
