I have tried everything to change my bank account including a 1,5 hour chat that did not resolve my problem. I get transferred from Ebay to my bank account but it will not accept my password. The password is correct as in works when I do transactions directly with my bank. I have asked Ebay to contact me to no avail.
It says not to give out personal information when you post for a reason. The ONLY people who will email you will be SCAMMERS. nobody from eBay reads here. Any email you get, claiming to be eBay will be from SCAMMERS. It had a banner warning NOT to give out your email for that very reason
Do not reply to any emails you get (they will only be from scammers
Do not give out your banking or other information to emails you get
No matter how many time the scammer tells you 'they really are eBay'

·3 years agoI am assuming you want to change your bank account details to be verified for Managed Payments (as a seller).
Make sure your new bank account has your name exactly as you have it in your eBay account.
Make sure that it’s a personal bank account if your eBay account is a personal account. (Don’t change eBay account to business if you can help it.)
Also make sure it’s an everyday transaction bank account, not a savings account.
Now for the nitty-gritty…

❝[Y]ou'll need to update your bank account details from the Payments tab in Seller Hub, or from Payments in My eBay.❞
❝To update your bank account for payouts:
It usually takes 2 business days for changes to be confirmed and payouts to be enabled for your new bank account.❞
It’s not enough to just edit the bank account, though. You must VERIFY the bank account, and also VERIFY your ID.
