·2 years agoI purchased a commercial meat slicer on Saturday 15th June 2024. As of Tuesday 18th June , there is no confirmation of purchase or delivery. Tried going through help, asking online what is happening , I was told by text that I had to pay $2.00 for technical assistance. Then when I wouldn't give my credit card details for the $2.00 they stopped allowing me to converse and try and solve the problem.
They said that it's gone to spam etc. My transaction number from my bank states the amount taken by Ebay
Transaction details are eBay0*15-11693-55885 Sydney Australia. These details were also given to the other supposedly there to help. Please call on landline. If this is a scam you've just ripped off pensioners

Nobody here has ripped you off, this is a member to member forum.
And pensioners do not get any special treatment over any other buyer. You are 100% protected by the MBG, if the thing does not arrive
IF you choose t use the tools given to you (and every other buyer)
Have you read the numerous threads on here about people not getting emails about their purchases?
what was the estimated delivery date?
where was the seller registered and what is their feedback as a seller like?
There is no need (and no use) in contacting eBay about something like this. Other members are no going to call you either
You can open an item not received dispute if it does not arrive
Have you attempted to communicate with the seller?
Have you asked for tracking?

·5 years agoYou can't, the call center has been shut for months due to Coronavirus
Live Chat is the only option if you must speak with eBay staff
However members here who have many many years of eBay experience will be able to answer most things far better than staff with scripts who just want to get rid of people
Unless it is a tech issue that actually needs eBay tech staff to fix, that, folks here can't do
