HOW TO CONTACT EBAY
Summary: In this discussion, various participants, including codiarna, are exploring ways to contact eBay. Multiple individuals join the conversation with sandypebbles actively participating by responding to several others such as dapeng_13 and buddhaful-au. However, the content and details of their responses are not disclosed.
I have been trying to contact ebay customer service for over 2 hours and just keep going around in circles. Does anyone know of a contact number or email for them. I just want to speak to someone on the phone, and the call back option only allows USA or Canadian numbers. I am in Australia so it won't let me leave my number.

Have you asked the seller?
checked tracking?
what is the estimated delivery date?
Rather than post off topic on and old thread, open your own if you want other members to try to help you
Is this from the dropshipping seller?
Or the dodgy seller registered in China?

·1 year agoI need to contact Ebay. They have made it so hard. I have 2 orders that say DELIVERED but They haven't arrived. Every time I put in order numbers it says they are not recognized. Just need to contact someone. Never received any tracking & someone obviously has my goods. Been with Ebay for 10 years. Never again

·1 year agoYou do not need to contact eBay to open an item not received dispute. So long as you are within the time limit to do so.
Did you buy on this account, or as a guest?
Not hard to contact, use eBay help at the top of any page and type 'speak to an agent' in the chat bot
But as said, you need to open the dispute yourself
No point contacting eBay for it

I have been doing the same thing Ebay is a terrible site, there is no way of contacting them like you say, younjust go round in circles. Ebay need to take angood hard look at themselves especially if you have a major issue, you are on your own with NO help from them, Good Luck!

·1 year agoYou can ask other members here, and get factual replies based on eBay policy, rather than an eBay agent typing anything from a pre-written script.
What is it you need help with?
You are most certainly not on your own
Every member can ask for advice on what to do in all kinds of situations
The members who respond here use eBay as buyers and sellers, and we know eBay policies
eBay CS staff with minimal training do not
And you take a chance on if the information they give use is even current, or correct at all
Is it about selling?
Have you already fully completed sign up to Managed Payments, and been verified to sell?
And as you are seen as a new seller, your funds will be on hold for 30 days?
Has a buyer opened a dispute and you need to know the best way to proceed?
Something else?

·1 year agoAre you trying to contact eBay on eBay.com? It sounds as though that’s what you’re attempting as you mention US/Canadian phone number requirement.
You need to contact eBay on eBay.com.au. The contact link for eBay Live Chat is at the bottom of every Help page. Link: https://www.ebay.com.au/help/home … scroll down to bottom of page.
Phone help came to abrupt stop during start of COVID. There are some circumstances where phone help is available but primarily for things such as when eBay account has been hacked…
Email is completely useless. It won’t be “read” for days, and even then, not by a human but by a BOT. The replies are BOT-generated and most of the time are not even related to what’s been asked.
Use the Live Chat… and you ma have to be persistent in asking to speak to a live person, as the wretched AI bot “assistant” may be the first option. Just type “I need to speak to a human being” or words to that effect.
If a phone option does appear, it will be Australia-specific.
You might want to try asking your question on these boards first, as the responders here have a wealth of eBay knowledge of policies and how to deal with them and with common eBay issues. If we can’t help, we’ll say so and advise you to contact eBay Live Chat. If you post an issue here, don’t include your full name or any contact information, don’t “name and shame” an eBay user, but you can post the item number of the item in question if it’s a transaction issue. (Not order number as we can’t see that.)

·1 year agoThere aren't any
eBay Help at the top of the page is how to contact them
Or you can post your issue here (no personal information) and get advice from fellow members who actually use eBay and know the policies
Rather than overseas based cs staff who simply read/type from pre-written scripts
We are also all in Australia here
