I cannot find details of an order I made last week in my ebay account. I have emails confirming it, but when I click the link it logs me out and tries to make me create an account, even though I have one linked to the email. Additionally I cannot message the sender. I would just like confirmation that this is on it's was as it is already late, and starting to feel like a scam.

The link won't work if you're signed in with a different account.
Sign out of all other accounts not relevant to the order.
Or did you purchase as a guest ?

From what you said, it sounds like that is what has happened
