If the item's showing as waiting for collection, it should be deemed to have been delivered. However, it's only been a day; it is far too early to be worrying about non-pickup by the seller. Give it another day or so. If no pickup by then, you may be best off contacting eBay Live Chat and informing them of the situation, just to get this processed as smoothly as possible.
