These groundbreaking small businesses are leading the way in circular fashion:
- HATCH + make: a design practice that collaborates with designers and brands to create premium knitwear, focusing on eliminating waste, circulating resources, and regenerating nature.
- Hello Tailr: an online clothing repairs and alterations platform available Australia-wide through door-to-door courier pickup, mail-in via Australia Post boxes, or drop-off at 7,500+ locations.
- Shopfront: a suite of tools that allow fashion sellers to generate fashion listings in minutes leveraging AI and distribute them across multiple marketplaces, like eBay, through an streamlined process
Along with our partner, the Australian Fashion Council (AFC), we're excited to see how these businesses will reshape fashion with sustainability and innovation. Each Australian winner wins $50,000 AUD and go into an Accelerator Program where they will be matched with mentors and participate in workshops to help them grow and scale their businesses.
The overall AU winner will be announced on 20 March 2025 and will win an additional $50,000 AUD and compete against the winners from the UK, US and Germany for investment from eBay Ventures.
